Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) India, October 27:Marking a major milestone in healthcare, Yashoda Medicity, one of North India’s largest integrated medical campuses, was inaugurated on 26th October 2025, in the presence of Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India; Shri Rajnath Singh, Hon’ble Defence Minister; Shri Yogi Adityanath, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh; and Shri Brajesh Pathak, Hon’ble Deputy CM and Minister for Medical Education, Uttar Pradesh.
Spread across 8 acres, Yashoda Medicity brings together 1,200 beds of advanced tertiary and quaternary care, along with centres of excellence in oncology, cardiology, neurosciences, organ transplantation, orthopaedics, mother and child care, and emergency medicine. The campus also houses an advanced research and training centre for advanced robotics along with allied disciplines, forming a comprehensive ecosystem for clinical, academic, and community health services.
Strategically located at the junction of Ghaziabad, Noida, and East Delhi, the facility strengthens healthcare access for over half a million residents in one of NCR’s fastest-growing urban belts. Designed to global standards, the hospital incorporates digital healthcare systems, modular infrastructure, infection control strategies, and patient-centred spaces that support both efficiency and wellbeing.
The campus has been designed by Creative Designer Architects (CDA), specialists in healthcare architecture, Associate Director, Ravideep Singh said, “Beyond meeting clinical requirements, the design has been guided by the belief that spaces of care must also be spaces of comfort. At Yashoda Medicity, this is achieved through clear circulation, access to daylight, and calm, naturally lit waiting areas that promote a sense of comfort and orientation to create an environment that supports both treatment and wellbeing.”
The healthcare campus is targeted for USGBC LEED Platinum certification, ensuring environmental responsibility through energy efficiency and sustainable design.
By combining scale, technology, education, and sustainability, Yashoda Medicity represents a next-generation model of urban healthcare delivery, positioning Ghaziabad as a leading hub in the NCR’s expanding medical network and contributing to India’s evolving healthcare infrastructure.
“Yashoda Medicity represents a paradigm shift in how large healthcare institutions are conceived as connected ecosystems rather than standalone buildings. The architecture enables interaction between departments, promotes learning, and supports the evolving needs of medical technology. It is a framework designed to grow with the institution and the city around it.”
