Gurugram, India: Gurugram-based Elanpro (Elan Professional Appliances Pvt. Ltd.), one of India’s leading commercial refrigeration company hailed its efforts to support the fight against COVID-19 by donating four Portable Vaccine Refrigerators to Gurgaon Administration for initiating the Sputnik vaccine camp across the District. This essential equipment was given by Mr. Shashank Joshi, Director at Elanpro to IAS Yash Garg, District Commissioner of Gurugram; at the District Commissioner’s Office in Mini Secretariat, Gurugram.
Elanpro has stepped forward to provide the country with the essential equipment, ensuring a safe and secure environment. The 42 Liters Portable Vaccine Freezer will be donated to the camps running a vaccination drive for Sputnik vaccines, which will be soon set up in Gurgaon with the help of the Gurgaon administration. These effective and efficient portable freezers also provide an easy solution for the transportation of vaccines to remote areas.

The company developed vaccine freezers compatible to the temperature required to be maintained for vaccine storage. Unlike Covishield and Covaxin, Sputnik is a very sensitive vaccine which requires -25Deg C temperature. Elanpro’s Portable Vaccine Freezer which runs on battery or 220V is much needed solution to ensure Cold Chain is maintained. Being convertible, these freezers can be further used for other vaccines. The company also has a portable solution for Pfizer which requires -70Deg C and can run on battery.
In addition to this initiative, Elanpro imported oxygen concentrators and provided them cost-free to the Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and the District Administration of Gurugram for the temporary COVID-Care centers across Gurugram and household usage. The company also donated N95 masks for Gurugram’s 8,000 police personnel. As a pioneer of commercial refrigeration, Elanpro donated advanced refrigeration systems for the vaccination drives across the nation.
