Encubay’s Global Immersion Week at GITEX drives global opportunities for female Founders to raise, scale and go global

India, October 23, 2024 –  Encubay, a global startup and angel platform committed to fostering through its SHEcosystem proudly announces the successful conclusion of its Global Immersion Week 2024, held from 13th to 17th October alongside GITEX Global in Dubai. Encubay led the participation of 40 female founders from India and  Serbia. Immersion Week provided an unparalleled opportunity for Indian women entrepreneurs to engage with Dubai’s dynamic startup ecosystem by helping them gain valuable insights, build global networks, and present their business ideas to potential investors. This collaboration underscored Encubay’s ongoing mission to support women-led ventures by bridging the gap between entrepreneurs and global opportunities.

Attendees explored innovations at the Dubai Global Immersion Week interacting with various business leaders and identifying strategic partnerships with women founders securing new business connections during the event. The week concluded with Female founders having the unique opportunity to pitch their business models directly to the Rukam Capital team amongst other investors, receiving invaluable feedback and forging strong connections within the UAE investment ecosystem. This interaction enhanced their pitching skills and also opened doors for potential partnerships, positioning them to do business in the MENA region.

The Encubay Global Immersion Week ’24 successfully brought together female founders and industry leaders for a transformative experience, featuring an exciting agenda that included an engaging panel discussion on “Dubai’s Business & Tech Landscape for the Next Decade,” where industry experts like Archana Jahagirdar, Founder and Managing Partner at Rukam Capital, Dr. Sana Sajan, Director of Danube Group, and Dr. Eng. Suaad Alshamsi shared valuable insights into navigating Dubai’s vibrant startup landscape. The event also showcased the “Soar Up Pitch Showcase and Investor Mixer” at the Capital Club, DIFC, allowing promising startups to pitch their innovations to influential investors and industry leaders such as Nandi Vardhan Mehta, Ruchi Dana, MD of DANA Group, and Amit Grover. Additionally, the “Corporate Leaders: Catalysts for SME Innovation” session highlighted how corporate innovation is empowering SMEs to scale, featuring insights from corporate leaders like Nezha Alaoui, CEO of Women Choice, and Sonia Al Marzooqi, a Top 51 Emirati Women Achiever amongst others.
