Mumbai, 24th June 2026: Birla Global University (BGU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Tanmay Pattanayak as the new Registrar of the university. Mr. Pattanayak joins the institution with a distinguished career and extensive leadership experience across prominent higher education institutions.
Mr. Pattanayak brings a wealth of administrative acumen to BGU, backed by a proven track record of leadership in higher education. Most recently, he served as the Registrar at Jagannath University, Rajasthan, where he played a pivotal role in driving institutional growth and strengthening governance frameworks. His extensive career also includes key administrative assignments at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, equipping him with a deep, nuanced understanding of managing high-performing, large-scale academic ecosystems.
