FAI-NR to Organise Training Program on Improving Professional and Personal Effectiveness for Fertiliser Sector Professionals

Mumbai, 17 June 2026: The Fertiliser Association of India – Northern Region (FAI-NR) will organise a four-day residential Training Program on Improving Professional and Personal Effectiveness from 17 to 20 June 2026 at KC Vilaas Resort & Spa, Fagu, Kufri, Himachal Pradesh.

As the fertiliser sector continues to evolve through advancements in technology, nutrient management, and policy frameworks, professionals across the value chain must continuously upgrade their knowledge and skills to remain effective in a rapidly evolving business environment. The program has been designed to help participants enhance both their technical understanding and personal effectiveness, enabling them to perform their roles with greater confidence, efficiency, and leadership.

Dr. Suresh Kumar Chaudhari, Director General, FAI, will deliver the Keynote Address at the inaugural session, setting the strategic context for the program with his insights on the policy, market, and sustainability forces redefining India’s fertiliser and agri-inputs landscape. Dr. S.P. Mohanty, Co-Chairman, FAI, and Managing Director, HURL & AVFCCL, will deliver the Inaugural Address, sharing his perspectives on leadership, operational excellence, and the competencies required to succeed in today’s dynamic fertiliser industry.

The program combines sector-specific technical knowledge with professional development, offering participants a holistic experience over four days. On the technical front, sessions will cover fertiliser pricing and subsidy policy, raw material and fertiliser scenario, logistics optimisation, iFMS/DBT implementation, international trade and port operations, fertiliser marketing strategies, alternative and nano fertilisers, Integrated Nutrient Management, and precision agriculture. Complementing this, dedicated sessions on soft skills – spanning team building, effective leadership, time management, stress management, and interpersonal effectiveness are designed to build the personal and professional capabilities that translate sector knowledge into on-ground impact.

The program will feature expert-led sessions by senior leaders from COMPO EXPERT India, Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd. (CFCL), HURL, Jubilant Agri and Consumer Products Ltd., KRIBHCO, and IFFCO, alongside faculty from FAI, government institutions, and leading management institutes.
