Women Who Win (WWW) Foundation, an organisation dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs and leaders, hosted the WWW Excellence Awards on April 13, 2026, to honour and recognise women who have demonstrated leadership, innovation and commitment to driving positive change in their respective fields.
Held at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) in New Delhi, the event brought together founders, industry leaders and change-makers under one roof. The evening featured recognitions across multiple award categories such as Sustainable Brand Entrepreneur, Emerging Woman Entrepreneur, Excellence at 60 and Excellence in Social Responsibility, highlighting inspiring stories of women across different educational and professional backgrounds, and age groups.
Each of the 36 recognitions was a powerful testament to the perseverance, courage and the pursuit of excellence the awardees embodied.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the Founder of Marwah Studios and AAFT, graced the event as the chief guest. In his keynote address, he highlighted that women are achieving excellence in every field today, and such platforms and events not only recognise their skills and achievements but also play a role in empowering them and enhancing their self-confidence. One of the biggest take-aways was his definition of “AATMA-NIRBHAR” which resonated very well with the attendees.
The evening also saw several guests of honour in attendance, including global migration policy advisor Meera Sethi, Vice President – Diplomatic Missions & UN and Head CRM India at G4S Bandana Singh, author, educationist and motivational speaker Geetika Lidder, Philanthropist Vinati Mishra, Bogusia Dhingra, Co-Founder of Alma Cafe, Fashion Stylist Seitu Kumar and PR Guru Dr. Suresh Gaur, Ms. Madhavi Advani, Luxury Consultant, Ms. Vinky Singh, International Film maker & Urvashi Mittal, social entrepreneur.
The evening was thoughtfully curated to go beyond celebration, creating a space for meaningful dialogue. Building on the theme of the event, which was ‘Women’s Safety and Security’, experts from CyberPeace Foundation delivered insightful sessions on cyber safety for women.
Additionally, attendees engaged in conversations that highlighted emerging opportunities, shared challenges and ways to build a sense of community and collaboration.
Commenting on the empowering and enthusiastic spirit of the guests, awardees and attendees, Simmi Bhasin, founder of Women Who Win Foundation, said, “The WWW Excellence Awards were all about celebration—celebrating the excellence of women entrepreneurs who continue to defy norms, take bold steps in their professional journeys and create an impact. But it was also about gratitude—being grateful about the opportunities and the community that we have built and nurtured. I would like to thank all the stakeholders who made this event the success that it was. We will continue evolving and bringing more such opportunities for women to learn, build and thrive together.”
